Dr. Laurel, Lan-chih Ho is Assistant Director General of the Department of Foreign Exchange in the Central Bank of the Republic of China (Taiwan). She has been assigned for overseeing the foreign reserve management since January 2012. She is also monitoring the performance of external asset managers. Before assigned with this position, she was doing research on asset allocation strategies, fixed-income investment strategies, currency overlay strategies etc.

She joined the CBC at February 2004. Prior to that, she was Assistant Professor of the Department of Finance at Yuan Ze University, Taiwan. She has a number of research papers published in academic journals, such as Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting (2011), Review of Financial Economics (2009), Journal of Asset Management (2008), Financial Management (2007), Review of Pacific Basin Financial Markets and Policies (2005).

Dr. Ho holds PhD in Finance from University of Birmingham, U.K., 1999, and holds FRM in year 2003.

Joseph Tang is Chief Investment Officer of Prudential Financial Securities Investment Trust Enterprise. He joined Prudential Financial SITE since March 2016.

Tang spent 24 years working in financial industry including 20 years’ experience in fund management in Hong Kong and Taiwan. He worked for JP Morgan (Hong Kong), Value Partner Concord AMC. Prior to joining the Company, Tang was the Chief Investment Officer of PineBridge Investment Management Taiwan.

Joseph Tang is a graduate of National Taiwan University and received MBA from Baruch College, the City University of New York, United States. He holds CPA certificates in both Taiwan and the United States.

Mr. Wu is the CIO of the Fixed Income Department at Fuhhwa Securities Investment Trust Company and the fund manager for 4 overseas bond funds (including: Fuh Hwa Global Bond Fund, Fuh Hwa Global Short-term Income Fund, and Fuh Hwa Emerging Markets Short-term Income Fund, Fuh Hwa ZAR fixed income umbrella fund). Fuh Hwa Global Bond Fund is the earliest overseas bond fund in Taiwan and managed by Mr. Wu since inception. Fuh Hwa Global Bond Fund was also awarded with the Best Fund Award (Overseas Fixed Income Product in 3-Year Period) from Taipei Foundation of Finance in 2009.

Mr. Wu holds  2 master degrees ( Executive MBA Program in Business Administration of National Taiwan University and Master in Banking and Finance of National Chengchi University) and a bachelor degree in Economics from National Chengchi University.  

Sophie Marnhier Foy is the Calypso global product manager for CCPs, Clearing Risk and Margin. In her role, she designs the Calypso margin solutions to meet the various regulatory margin and clearing requirements. Currently, Sophie works very cl osely with clients implementing ISDA SIMM, to ensure that their IOSO/BCBS compliance for Sept 2018, 2019 or 2020 will be successful. Ms Marnhier-Foy is also in charge of the margin services cloud initiative, which is offering native cloud micro-services. The first service is offering ISDA SIMM margin calculation and management.

Alexandre looks after the definition, positioning and go-to-market strategy of Murex product solutions with a focus on Risk Management and Regulatory Transformation. His most recent work centers on the implementation of the bilateral Initial Margin and Basel III capital reforms, and on XVA desks operating models. Alexandre also co-heads the Murex task force on the Interest Rates Benchmark Reform. 

Since joining Murex in 2000, Alexandre has held both senior client-facing and product management positions, last serving as global head of the Risk Control practice and general manager for Murex Ireland, where he drove the development of the MX.III XVA management solution and Credit Risk simulation engine.

Alexandre holds a « Grande École » MSc in Management and Finance from HEC Paris.
